Throwing out your old eyeliner? Follow these 5 EASY ways to save dried out liner

Are you one of those girls who needs eyeliner just before she steps out of home to look alive and awake? That beauty junkie who knows the heart ache of finding her favourite super expensive eyeliner all dried out and flaky? Luckily, there are quite a few ways to bring your eyeliner back to life in liquid form! Check out these simple and easy techniques.

Dip in hot water
Over time, any liquid product can get lumpy and difficult to use. Next time this happens, heat up a bowl of water and let the liner stay inside for a while and the contents inside the tiny container are bound to melt in a few minutes. Remove the eyeliner and then give it a good shake before application.

Eye drops
Gel eyeliner tends to dry out extremely quickly in the pot. When it does, instead of throwing it out, put in a few drops of over-the-counter eye drops in it and mix well till you achieve the consistency you want. The same trick works extremely well for dried out mascara as well!

Shake it up
For those liners which come with a pen-like tip, if you have tried all of this, just a good shake and lay it down upside down so that it flows easily and lines your eyes well.

Body moisturiser
For that cream-based colour eyeliner which has dried out, you want to tread slowly and not ruin the colour of the product. Pick out your favourite unscented body moisturiser and add a drop or two to the brush of the liner. Mix it well with the brush and use your liner like it is new again!

Rub it at the back of your hand
All those pencil liners that have dried up tips, can be a struggle to use on the eyes. All you need to do is sharpen it and then run it at the back of your hand or a paper that has been dipped into hot water.
